How do performance nasal strips actually work?
The strips feature a built-in "spring" or tension band. When applied to the bridge of the nose, they physically lift the sides of the nostrils (the nasal valves). This opens the airway and reduces resistance, allowing for a higher volume of oxygen intake with less effort.

Problem: Edges are peeling
- Potential Cause: Skin was oily, sweaty, or had moisturizer on it.
- Solution: Wash your nose with soap and water or use an alcohol wipe before applying. Ensure the skin is 100% dry.
Problem: Irritated skin after use
- Potential Cause: "Dry removal" (pulling the strip off while the adhesive is still fully bonded).
- Solution: Always remove the strip during a warm shower or use a dab of baby oil to loosen the adhesive before pulling.
Problem: Not feeling enough airflow
- Potential Cause: The strip is placed too high on the bridge of the nose.
- Solution: Move the strip slightly lower. It should sit just above the point where your nostrils begin to flare to get the best "lift."
